hey all, got this idea when a happened across a BANDAI S.H. Figuarts "BODY CHAN" figure at my local Barnes&Noble, the perfect opportunity to make myself the smallest Character Doll i'm likely to ever have, providing i can manage to sew credibly at a minuscule 1/12.

well, though it all turned out well enough, -managing to mate the head of my Figma Mikuru to the disparate neck mounting of the Figuarts- the set of undies i made her as a first effort in this scale isn't bad, i suppose, -actual cotton crotch in the panties in this scale and all- but i suppose it didn't turn out QUITE as swimmingly as my mind's eye would have preferred it to...

A perfect match! How did you connect the neck to the head, is there a joint or did you have to bolt or glue it?

i really wanted to find a way to preserve the Figuarts' double neck joint,
but since the Figma head uses a right angle Figma elbow joint
for neck-to-head connection,
i just couldn't figure any other way to join such disparate connection points
but to drill an up-angled hole dead center in the Figuarts' upper neck ball,
driving a small screw through it and into the Figma heads' joint-pin slot.

since i just couldn't get the head/neck angle to set properly,
i abandoned the screw method, and just secured the neck ball
to the innermost surfaces of her head's joint cavity
with some LOCTITE super glue.

since her head angle is now dependent upon position of her one neck joint,
the Figuarts' neck base, i had to get angles on her head mounting right,
so her chin/brow line would meet a more demure inward angle,
and also ensure her shoulder-length hair
would allow clearance for the top of her back/shoulders.

it was a pain, but i did manage successfully enough i think...
